3rd All India SPJ CUP, A MUST AWATIED CRICKET TOURNAMENT OF NORTH INDIA

Yes, you read right. SPJ Cup is the biggest tournament of North India which has been organised in the capital of India for last three consecutive years. Many call it MINI IPL of India.

Now the question rises in your mind, why SPJ is the biggest tournament and why everyone call it MINI IPL of India.

SPJ Cup is the only tournament in India in which Ranji players and international players can be watched playing for different teams, apart from those tournaments which are being affiliated to BCCI.

So, get ready to witness the clash of titans as the stage is set for an epic cricket showdown which will start from Sep 1st,2023 in Jamia Milia Islamia University.   Okhla, New Delhi.

Though, the venue for SPJ has been in Delhi but still tournament has teams from all over India because of the popularity of this tournament. In fact, SPJ cup has one overseas team as well.

SPJ cup is being organized in the memory of late Shri Darshan Lal Joshi since 2021 and the founder of this tournament are Mr. Puran Joshi, managing director of SPJ Cargo Pvt Ltd, Mr. Hemant Baniyal, Director of SPJ Cargo Pvt Ltd, Mr. Kesari Prasad, Director of KP SPORTS, Mr. Sanjeev and Mr. Deepak Bansal.

The tournament is sponsored by HMA, TRANSWORLD, PRISTINE, PRABHU LOGISTICS PVT LTD, RENEW U, QUALITY FOODS, MARHABA FROZEN FOODS, KP SPORTS, MANGAL INFOTECH, INES SERVICES, JEFFA, CARPE DIEM, KRAGBUZZ, CSC and CARTWHEEL SPORTS.

If we call SPJ Cup a perfect tournament in all aspects that is good ball, perfect wicket, experienced umpires, cozy accommodations, quality food, than there is no doubt because you get to see all this  in the SPJ Cup.

It is a 3rd season of SPJ CUP. Sixteen teams are participating in the tournament and the tournament is played with knockout format, teams are divided into four pools, A,B,C and D, with four teams in each group.

Two teams will be qualified for the quarterfinals from each group.

Beyond the stats and numbers, this tournament will script tales of resilience, teamwork, and the human spirit. If you are a cricket lover and live around NCR, I would suggest, come and watch the thrilling matches from Sep 1st at Jamia Milia Islamia university, Okhla, New Delhi.

Make your schedule and visit Jamia for the 3rd season of All India SPJ Cup. You must have seen the matches in the stadium, but you would not have seen the team India or IPL players as closely as you would get to see them in the SPJ Cup.

Rahul Tewatia, Sehbaj Ahmed, Shebaj Nadeem, Piyush Chawla, Rinku Singh, Anuj Rawat, Abdul Samad, Parwez Rasool, Rahul Chahar, Varun Chakraborty, Saurav Tiwari, Prabhjitsingh Simran, Abhishek Sharma, Ayush Badoni, Pradeep Sangwan, Kulwant Khijroliya, Pawan Negi, Jayant Yadav etc.
